Day 01:Guwahati – Shillong (110 kms/ 3 hrs): [Day-1 to Day-1]
Arrive at Guwahati airport/railway station, meet by our representative. Transfer to Shillong- also known as “the Scotland of the East”. En route visit the Umium Lake also commonly known as Barapani Lake. On the way to Shillong you can have the view of roadside fruit and pickle stalls which are produced locally. On arrival, check into hotel. After Check in visit the Mary’s Cathedral, Don-Bosco Museum and Golf course. Return to hotel by dusk. Overnight. 

Shillong is the capital city Meghalaya, also known as "The Abode of Clouds", one of the smallest states in India. It is said that the rolling hills around the town reminded the European settlers of Scotland. Hence, Shillong is referred as the "Scotland of the East"

Day 02:Shillong – Cherrapunjee (53km/01:30hrs): [Day-2 to Day-2]
After breakfast drive towards Cherrapunjee. En route visit Shillong Peak and Elephant Falls. Shillong Peak is also known as Shillong view point from where you can see the vistas of Shillong City. Elephant Falls is another tourist attraction of Shillong. In Cherrapunjee you can visit the Nokhalikai falls, Seven Sister’s falls, Dainthlen falls and Mawsmai cave. Post lunch visit the Awrah Cave. Check in at hotel/resort. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.


Day 03: Cherrapunjee – Dawki – Mawlynnong day trip (84kms/02:27hrs): [Day-3 to Day-3]
After breakfast drive to Dawki – the border town between India and Bangladesh. In Dawki you can also see the Suspension bridge above the Umngot river. The suspension bridge was constructed during the British rule. You can also enjoy country boat ride in the Umngot river. The specialty of Umngot river is that – the water is very crystal clear en you can see the ground. After that drive towards Mawlynong- also known as the “cleanest village in Asia”. You can observe the cleanliness of the village by taking a short walk. Post lunch visit the nearby Riwai village and walk around the Single Deccer Living Root Bridge. Return to Cherrapunjee for Overnight stay.

Day 04: Cherrapunjee – Mawsynram – Shillong (141kms/04:30hrs): [Day-4 to Day-4]
After breakfast drive towards Mawsynram. Visit the tourist places of Mawsynram which includes Mawsynram cave, Naturally formed Shiva Linga, Mawphlang Dam, Mawphlang scared forest and Jakrem hot water spring. Lunch on the way. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 05: Shillong - Jowai (66kms/02hrs): [Day-5 to Day-5]
After breakfast set to explore Jowai. The scenic beauty of Jowai attracts tourist since many years. The sight-seeing includes Durga Temple, Krang Suri Falls and Nartiang Monoliths. Lunch on the way. By evening return to hotel. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 06: Shillong - Guwahati (110 kms/ 3 hrs): [Day-6 to Day-6]
After breakfast check out from Hotel visit Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydri Park and go for shopping. Resume your journey towards Guwahati. Lunch on the way. Take a stop at Umiam lake. On arrival check-in at Guwahati hotel. Evening you may choice to take a Dinner cruise on the Brahmaputra river. Back to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 07: Guwahati local sightseeing: [Day-7 to Day-7]


Early morning visit the Kamakhya Devi Temple. Back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast visit the State Zoo, Assam State museum, Peacock island. After lunch visit the Tirupati Balaji Temple and Sankardev Kalakshetra followed by shopping in Assam Emporium. Return to hotel for night stay.


Day 08: Guwahati Departure: [Day-8 to Day-8]
After breakfast check-out of hotel and transfer to Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for onward journey.
